One Semester Down
The first semester of the year is coming to a close. My grades are not where I would like them to be, but they show exactly how much effort I have been putting in. Most of my classes are okay, except for American Studies. I am wishing I was back in 9th grade doing word of the days and taking power naps with Mrs. Innes. But that's in the past now and have to suffer through talks about the crucible and the Salem Witch Trials.

10th Grade
I feel good about going into 10th grade. I am not worried about how hard the classes are going to be or anything like that. I think that the year will be better next year because we will be older and be able to drive. My goals for next year are to get straight A's. I also want to play soccer, basketball, and baseball. I don't really know what my goals are for the sports but i want to play varsity during basketball.
Do you have advice for me as I enter 10th grade?

College
I don't really know what I am going to be. I think I want to go into engineering of some sort. I want to go to college because I have heard it is a lot of fun. If you go to college you can earn a lot more of money if you get a job your field. I think it depends on what you want to do at the college. I also think how much the college costs is a big decision when it comes to picking a college.

Crocodile Tears, Anthony Horowitz
Crocodile Tears by Anthony Horowitz is about Alex Rider and an insane man who owns a Charity and plans to poison the south horn of Africa. Desmond McCain is the owner of the charity First Aid. Desmond McCain is a psychopath who is in love with money. Desmond McCain drugs Alex and then smuggles him out of the country into Afrifca. Alex meets up with an Indian agent and they escape and foil McCain's plans.
I like the book because it has a lot of action in it. It is a good read and will keep you reading.
Technology
There is no doubt that technology is affecting our lives today. Technology is everywhere. Our school went form carrying books to carrying Netbooks in a couple of years. Technology is advancing at an extreme rate. Technology has affected me by having my school make me carry a computer around each day. Soon the school will require phones of iPods to be mandatory for the classroom. The culture that my generation is growing up in is going to drastically change by the time we are in college. It will be even different by the time we are 30. Technologies influence is going to change as long as we are alive.

Crocodile Tears, by Anthony Horowitz, is the eighth book in the Alex Rider series. I am around half way through the book. Right know they have just made Harold Bulman's life a living nightmare. They took everything that he owned away. Bank accounts, cars, his apartment, they even changed his name and made it look like he (Harold Bulman) had died and is know some deranged psychopath who killed Harold Bulman (himself) with a kitchen knife that he carries around in his briefcase.
But other than all the action and Alex driving off a cliff into a frozen lake and surviving, it is a pretty normal book. I like it because it has a lot of action. I recommend all the books in the series if you like action and stuff.
If you could open your own Gator farm, would you?

Stuff

I was born on December 17, 1994. It was a routine trip to the hospital for my mom because I am the fourth of four boys. I was born in the Littleton Regional Hospital and have lived here all my life. So, my life has been pretty cool growing up in NH. I like to hang out with my friends and play sports. My favorite sport is basketball. I also love to go rock climbing. I really do not like the freezing winter time because I do not really go skiing all that much. But for the most part it is a fun place to live. If your family ever comes to visit, you always have something to do.
What is your favorite season?
